Oneesan's french titled Lolita event at fanime!

Somehow I managed to miss the announcement about Oneesan's event at fanime! Who else is excited? And who else wants to go? $65 ain't bad, especially since I was going to fanime anyway so it's not like PMX where I had to decide if the entry AND the con badge AND the hotel were worth it. And this time I shouldn't be so distracted by boys! So excited!

Next quarter and summer are really looking up. Taking 2 easy and exciting classes (a Disney class and a Sociology of popular culture class) that start late monday and don't happen friday, so I basically have a four day weekend. Wondercon, Fanime, this Lolita event, graduation (urg), gonna meet Jeremy's parents, then spending most of summer at home relaxing, plus Anime Expo, one day of Comic Con, and Lady Gaga and possibly Green Day/AFI. Add to that a few exciting movies (Iron Man! Eclipse!) and once my finals are over (tomorrow at 10!), life is gonna be pretty sweet.

...of course I still have to make it through today. Went to bed at 3 last night, up at 6:30 for 8 AM "final" I'm still at, have two 3-5 pag papers to write today, then work from 11 to 2 AM, and I have to get up at like 9 or so to turn my paper in at 10. Sigh. But I soldier on, cuz after that it's my BIRTHDAY and then, like I said, life will become sweeeeet.

That's awesome :) I'm also really excited about the Oneesan event with the *magical boutique* and concert and special guests... I wonder if the VIP ticket would be worth it. I'm probably just going to get a regular ticket anyway.

Oh yeah, good luck with the papers! I would kind of prefer papers to really big exams (all my classes this quarter are based on the midterm and final grades ;_;)

Last AP event at PMX the VIP tickets didn't sell for much more than the normal tickets. Maybe if you're lucky that could happen again. VIP, in the past at least, was worth it for all the free loot alone, not to mention getting to talk with the designers and all that jazz. Plus if you buy a reg ticket now and then win a VIP ticket you can put your first tickets price towards your VIP ticket, so no commitments until it's all said and done.

I bought a regular ticket, but I'm going to see what the prices for VIP look like, because if the perks are anything like PMX, it's definitely worth it.

Thanks for the luck on papers! They're officially DONE, which is fabulous. Good luck with you exams! I hate exams, I totally feel you pain on wishing they were papers... :/

Yeah, $65 is a lot if you're not into AP and/or you don't plan on buying much at the boutique. Especially since you're doing Artist's Alley and stuff, too.

I'm super excited for Fanime now. :) I'm jealous you're going to Comic Con. That's going to be a blast. Seems I can never afford comic con/get my act together before tix sell out. Good luck with the sleep deprivation.

I'm super excited about fanime, now, too! We just booked out hotel the other day, so I was already excited and now that has DOUBLED. I'm excited about Comic-Con, too, but I'm only going Thursday, as opposed to the whole weekend. I didn't get my shit together fast enough this year, so I missed the full weekend. :(

It really does suck. I think I might show up to school and leave super early or something. Say it's for a doctors appointment or something. I don't really mind not being there the first day for the shop but I really just wanna see Asuka again. (<3 Super huge crush.)
