silly

It's really silly how much I miss him even though it hasn't been a full day. Granted, I saw him for a total of like...maybe an hour today? When we said goodbye this morning (during which I was half asleep), and then for a bit this afternoon. Now he's off at home, chillaxing with his parents. The truly silly thing is that part of the reason I'm still awake is that I know sleeping is going to be hard in my cold bed all alone. Silly, right?

Saw Valentine's Day this evening. It was super cute, a lot like Love Actually except substitute Xmas for V Day and British people for Americans. I may have enjoyed it more because I was tipsy, but I still think I would have liked it nontheless.

Also went to Rocky Horror with Miss Julia. Always a good time, although it reminded me how I've wanted to be a tranny for slugs in fishnets since freshman year. Never had the courage though. Maybe if they do a show next quarter...?

Epic tea party tomorrow, really should sleep.

Sigh.

I have been sick since last Wednesday and it SUCKS, man. Missed school/work on Thursday and Friday, missed half my work shift yesterday and school today, but am pushing through my work shift right now. I also got Jeremy sick, so today we sat on the couch together and sneezed and coughed and cuddled. Were were pathetic, but also kind of adorable.

I'm excited to get un-sick, though, cuz I have an exciting month ahead! I have almost weekly movie dates with my dearest Nicole to see a host of chick flicks, gonna see Wolfman and the Gurren Lagann movies (!!!) with Miss Julia, going to a super happening coworker bday party this Friday (I expect Edward Cullen and Ke$ha to be involved, so you know that's going to be good), and a museum/dinner/purikura date in the city for Valentine's Day! Me, an actual date, on Valentine's Day! I might even get flowers! (Plz note that Joel hated all holidays, dates, and flowers).

I told Jeremy he was a good boyfriend!! because he wanted to go out with me and he was just like, lol, that is what boyfriends are supposed to do, spend time with their girlfriends. I was just like not in my experience...*snuggles* <33

Found a battery charger! )

I am SO HAPPY to have a working camera again, you have no idea.
I feel kind of obnoxious, I have been living in a ridiculous lovebubble for like a full WEEK now. I'm just so happy and honeymoon-y and it's been so long since I've been happy about a boy with no strings attached.

update?

OMG pictures?? )

My camera died and I can't find the charger, so all I have is phone pictures. ;_; I've been dressin' up lately, too! Cuz Jeremy likes my clothes. :3

Jeremy is OFFICIALLY my boyfriend now, btw. :D And he gave me flowers! :DD

Here's a snapshot of my life right now: been back in school for a little over a week, already missed two full days, half a day of work, went to urgent care once, spent almost every night at Jeremy's, listening to Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" and "My Life Would Suck Without You" from Glee on repeat, went to a con where I saw Dustin MOTHERFREAKING EVERYWHERE but it wasn't too awkward, and...yeah. Why my life so busy? I kind of like it, obviously otherwise I wouldn't fill it so much, but goddamn.
Jeremy came to visit me for three whole days! It was lovely. I took him to my favorite Santa Maria restaraunts and he met my family and he loves Miss Tia! We didn't do a whole lot aside from eat, watch movies, snuggle, and talk, but a) that's all there is to do in SM and b) those are the things I like to do anyway. We watched Jennifer's Body! GO BUY IT, CAME OUT YESTERDAY. I <3 that movie and Jeremy even said it wasn't that bad, cuz he thought it wouldn't be awful and it wasn't, it's AWESOME. Or okay, but I think AWESOME.

Saw Avatar today. I liked it, visually sutnning, blah blah. Mostly I just hated the military jerk guy, hated mankind for what we do to native populations and the Earth, and want to live on a planet that glowwwwwwws. So cool. Jeremy says raves are kinda like that. Maybe I should go to a rave?

I was gonna go back to SC for New Year's, but I think I'm gonna chillax here instead. This break has been pretty fun, but really rather busy and I kinda just want to lock myself in my room and read and marathon anime with my brother.

Speaking of anime marathons! We need a series to marathon for New Year's! Something we can finish in like a day or two, so one season shows are best. Any recommendations?
I ended up spending 4 of my 5 weekend days/nights at Jeremy's.

We're in an "open relationship" where we can see other people and aren't "serious" but I have a feeling we're going to spend an absurd amount of time together. (The non exclusivity was my idea.)

We're sort of not talking about where this is like going or whatever, just really enjoying spending time together and doing what we want, without thinking about whether it's too much or too fast or anything. It's nice just to live in the moment and enjoy another person's company, without feeling pressured for more or like it's wrong somehow.

We're going to a work party on Friday, together, so that will be our "coming out" as a couple to our co-workers. He really likes PDA, so people will definitely know that we're seeing each other.

It's been less than a week, so I know I'm honeymoon-y and silly, but I'm very happy.

:D
Back from comic-con. Camera died on the first day and thus have only a few pics which are on my cell phone and thus low quality and to be uploaded at a later date.

Saw:

Up close: Juliet from Lost, Elijah Wood (!), Kevin Sorbo, Hurley from Lost, Jayne from Firefly, Lou Ferrigno.

Fairly Close: DAVID TENNAT OMFGGGGG, Kevin Smith.

Far Away: Johnny Depp, Mila Kunis, Tim Burton, Joss Whedon, Eliza Dukshu, bunch of other famous people, who cares.

Footage/trailers: Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man 2, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, that's all I can remember.

Didn't see: Avatar footage, Amanda Palmer, Twilight. :(((( (basically my Thursday SUCKED)

It was fun overall, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pony up the $20 increase and shell out $100 for next year. It doesn't even really feel like a geek event anymore, it's mostly people who want to see new movies and famous people. The comic geeks are still there, but it's like comic geeks and then normals, with a few of us general geek stragglers in between. Also, omgwtf wayyyyy too crowded. It's gone from you should show up an hour early for a panel to you NEED to show up 2 hours early or you're not getting in. And forget about panels in the smaller, semi-popular rooms. Those are impossible.

...the hot girl at my work just felt it necessary to inform me that there is going to hot lesbian action on Heroes and Dollhouse next season. She is a lesbian...I think she's super hot...is she hitting on me? Wishful thinking? idk.

And just a quick update on Joel and me, if you care. We're doing...okay, we're going to work it out, but we're not great and we're not on stable ground. We're both going to try to make things better, but keep our options and plan for all eventualities. We'll see.

But I'm not miserable anymore, so that's good. :)
