Getting this outta the way so I can make an all Baby weekend post )

I still need to pack, try out my new make-up, etc etc. But Joel and I made waffle ice cream sandwiches and now I'm full and just want to lie down.

But I'm so excited!
+ Doctor Who graffiti in the ladies bathroom in Social Sciences! It said "Are you the Doctor?" and then "Doctor Who?" and then something about him taking you on space time adventures. I almost died of exciting.

+ I just told Nicole "pshaw" and she told me to "pshut up". It was pretty awesome.

+ Our skit went over really well! It was the second funniest and everyone laughed at all the right parts, but especially my family and my boyfriend. And a really awesome awkward, took-a-moment-to-get-it laugh after I said I met "lots of nice men" in Akihabara.

+ The funniest skit was a Pokemon skit where they got sucked into the world of Pokemon and then used plushies to fight. In Japanese. There has been a lot of epic Pokemon-ness in my life lately!

+ I met a random Lolita at Joe's! I was just standing there and some girl is like, "Is your dress Angelic Pretty?" and I about jumped on her and was like OMG YOU KNOW LOLITA BE MY FRIEND WE ARE LEGION. I friended her on facebook and she says she's going to go to meet-ups next year!

+ Caaaaaaaaake. Japanese caaaaake. And also free food at the library. Luna bars that taste like Christmas! No, really. Try the chai Luna bars. Christmas.

Less cool was that I had to say goodbye to Lundberg-san (we sat next to each other for two years in Japanese, and now she's graduated. ;_;), and I have to work until midnight. But tomorrow home! Yayyy!

I basically died of need when I saw these, zomg. But: blue or pink?

It's rainy again. I'm kind of okay with it, but I'm ready for spring. Although, I keep hearing about how it's snowing in other parts of the country and I kind of wish it would snow here. I've never really been in the snow...I visited a couple of times when I was a little girl, but it was long enough ago that I don't really remember what it was like.

I had lavender flavored ice cream the other day. As in lavender flower flavored. It was interesting. A little sour, but in a good way. I really want to try rose ice cream.

The end of the quarter is such crap. I need to go bury myself in the history of Cantonese women from 1900-1950 and theories of the female spectator as they can be related to Twilight (~_^), but I just want to lie in bed and read and watch the rain.

home

I went home this weekend. It made me wish I could go home more, but with how busy this quarter is? That is unlikely, unfortunately. Going home this weekend really wasn't a good idea...I have three midterms this week.

Also saw Coraline this weekend. It was absolutely lovely and I recommend it to everyone. Joel wants to name one of our daughters Coraline now. As long as I still get to have Zoey Antoinette, that's fine with me.

Off to make lunch...I'm trying to actually cook instead of eating out for practically every meal. Right now I'm making tuna onigiri with the Hello Kitty molds! I just wish I had bought the Hello Kitty seaweed...they they would actually look like Hello Kitty. Like this.
Finished a paper so I gave myself sushi and bubblegum ice cream as a reward. <3

Also, I think I may have a new favorite distraction website: we <3 it.

bento?

I wanna learn to make cute bento like this )

I made myself a sandwich today, but I didn't have time to do anything cute with it...bento will be one of my goals this summer!

I finished my Buffy paper last night and I <3 it and am so effin' glad its over. Just my oral Friday, then quick write of my history paper, and I'm free! And by free, I of course mean working 20 hours in three days next week...I'm trying to earn as much as I can, while I can. Yogurt Creations and Edwards have both called me to set up interviews, but when I said I was out of town until next Friday they both went, "Oh...well..." and that they'd see. So...yeah. Sucks. Although, honestly, part of me doesn't want a job. I don't want to have to explain why I have to take time off to go to conventions...I'm afraid they either a) won't give me the job because of it, or b) Won't give me the time off and then I won't know what to do at all. My mom said she's pay me to clean the house, but she can only pay so much...we'll see.

In other news, I'm into Death Note right now, particularly the character L. But I know what happens in the end and now I'm half-way through and I don't want to finish because it's sad...
I am so very, very proud...I cooked my first non-instant, non-bland meal! Asian tuna spinach rice thing! It was a little too salty, but omg I cooked something that was actually good from scratch! It's amazing.

Also, Heroes is a cool show and all y'all should watch it.
