I went home this weekend. It made me wish I could go home more, but with how busy this quarter is? That is unlikely, unfortunately. Going home this weekend really wasn't a good idea...I have three midterms this week.

Also saw Coraline this weekend. It was absolutely lovely and I recommend it to everyone. Joel wants to name one of our daughters Coraline now. As long as I still get to have Zoey Antoinette, that's fine with me.

Off to make lunch...I'm trying to actually cook instead of eating out for practically every meal. Right now I'm making tuna onigiri with the Hello Kitty molds! I just wish I had bought the Hello Kitty seaweed...they they would actually look like Hello Kitty. Like this.

I totally agree about going home. Obv, I get to go home more than you do, but I still miss it a lot sometimes. Thanks for the recommendation on Coraline; I was really unsure about it. The preview made it look good, but I was afraid to get my hopes up. Plus, Chris made fun of it and said it was going to be just another of the same old thing. I disagreed and said it looked like Tim Burton's comeback film!
P.S. That's super cool that you have hello kitty molds for sushi!

Tim Burton actually isn't involed with Coraline; it was directed and adapted by the other guy who did Nightmare Before Xmas. Its based on a story by Neil Gaiman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/neil_gaiman), who is a really really cool author. Its definitely not Tim Burton faux gothic...its a genuinely good, creepy kids' film.

Dude, that's cool, I never knew that. Haha. Yeah, I've been wanting to read Neil Gaiman for a while, cuz I read this book called Wicked Lovely, and the author, Melissa Marr, talks about him a lot.

awwwww imagining joel talking about his/your future daughters is so cuuuute! esp since he would never entertain that kind of thought out loud in front of all of us, lol.

I looooove it when he talks about the future. Babies, our house, whatever, it's amazing. He doesn't do it often so it's like a super rare treat. :D
