I keep having to school my friends/co-workers on the ways and terminologies of fandom. Good practice for my senior thesis? Hellz yes.

Akira is supposed to be one the greatest anime films of all time, and it's what made it legitimate in America. That said, I don't especially care for it, it's suuuper crazy and weird.
