emilie_rainbow | ONE PIECE

Jeremy and I have been watching absurd amounts of One Piece. We'd been slowly (like 2-4 episodes per week) moving through the series, but then finals were over and neither of us wanted to do anything but lie around and watch something, so we picked One Piece! We've broken the 400 episode mark! We're on Amazon Lily right now, and I'm pretty sure we're gonna catch up to the series within the next few weeks or so. Which is crazy! But exciting. Then I'll just need to catch up on the manga. Woot.

Of COURSE I love the main crew ladies, gotta love Nami and Robin, but the following three ladies have piqued my interest, and possibly my cosplay desires:

Nefertari Vivi

Princess Vivi was the first OP characters I freaked over a little. She's a princess! And a pirate! And she's part of the nakama forever, even though she's still in Arabasta.Love love.

Perona

Gotta love pink-haired villianesses who just want everything to be spooky and cute. How fun would her costume be? And she has a subordinate who is a big bear zombie that she doesn't let talk because it's "not cute".

Jewelry Bonney

Ohhh, Jewelry Bonney the Glutton. She's one of the top rookies, and she's a SHE! How could I not love her? And she has pink hair which, of course, always makes me love a character just a little bit more. Dunno if I could/want to cosplay her, though...her shorts are very short. And I don't know if I could make those proportions look good, bein' so short and all. Also the colors/design on her tights is =kind of hideous, lol. It looks like ugly 70's wallpaper or something.

Soooo yeah. One Piece. It's amazing and I'm so happy that I'm finally catching up! I feel like I can legitimately claim fan-hood now. :3
